Disclosure: Review unit provided by ADATA.
Many motherboards as of now have one-or-two M.2 SSDs with 80mm mounting space. As this interface is getting common, you should be able to see M.2 and PCIe x4 SSD reviews flowing in at a constant pace. This is the ADATA Premier Pro SP900 128 GB. Earlier, the SP550 was tested.
Packaging and Specifications
Packaging is adequate for this 80mm M.2 SSD. The drive is labeled with a three-year warranty period and the back has the QR code to download the Acronis software. There’s no accessories included nor it would be required.

Closer Look
There’s no heatspreaders on this M.2 SSD so its easy to identify components. There are a total of four ADATA labeled synchronous MLC NANDs. This is a very old M.2 drive, seeing that it uses the SandForce SF-2281 controller. As you’d imagine, this uses SATA interface rather than taking advantage of PCIe lanes.
